However there are songs on this album that are worth listening too. 1. Shout: Actually a great song too bad it's on an album like this. 2. The Satisfied Mind: Pretty good follow up to the /5().

5. My favorite tracks are Shout, The Satisfied Mind, The 4th Dimension, C'mon, Here to Go, Jurisdiction of Love, and R U Experienced. These are, in my opinion, essential Devo songs, and that makes Shout an essential Devo album. Don't listen to the naysayers. If you like Devo, you will probably like this. Be patient with it and you will be rewarded/5(27).

7. Fortunately, Shout is an enjoyable, tight, fun affair, even if the rough edges have been completely carved off and the trademark Devo philosophy and wit is seriously toned down. This is a Devo album for people who love early Depeche Mode and New Order and enjoy reflecting on the halcyon days of their youth playing "Pitfall" and wearing Zips.
